An indoor golf simulator is a system that allows you to play golf virtually. You hit a real golf ball into an HD projector screen that shows a virtual golf course or a virtual driving range. A machine called a launch monitor gives you instant feedback using radars and cameras. By measuring your swing mechanics and ball flight, you can see where and how far your ball would go on the screen as if you were playing on an actual golf course.
Virtual golf facilities provide multiples advantages: You can play golf in any weather condition, any time of the year. Locations are very convenient, often located in urban areas. There is no strict dress code (polo and golf shoes are not required). You get instant feedback on your swing and your shots. You can get fitted for clubs based on exact data. The game experience is more laid back, social, and inclusive. Several venues offer food, drinks, and event catering. They are great places to take data-driven golf lessons. Indoor golf is less time-consuming. For beginners, they provide a more relaxed environment. Play virtually on the best golf courses in the world.
The price depends on your location and the venue, but generally you can rent a simulator bay for about $50 an hour, and you can share it with up to 3 or 4 friends.
